China Chengxin Financial Consultancy was originally incorporated as China Chengxin Security Rating, registered with the State Administration Bureau for Industry and Commerce on 8 October 1992. Being the very first holder of a financial business license to provide investment banking and credit rating services in China, its establishment has attracted substantial attention from both domestic and international financial world. As an authoritative media reported, the foundation of China Chengxin marked the standardization of the Chinese security market. In the early 90s, the vast majority of enterprises were solely owned by the State government, whilst China Chengxin led a corporate reform by adopting the modern corporate governance structure from the very start of its incorporation.

China Chengxin restructured its investment banking business in January 2003. As a result, an independent new company, China Chengxin Financial Consultancy Co., Ltd., was incorporated, carrying forward China Chengxin’s core investment banking business, its key management team, and competitiveness, but operates in a more specialized niche market.

The ten years continued success of China Chengxin coincides with the growth of the Chinese capital market. To this date, the company has been regarded highly by all social communities and groups as the most successful “ten-year-company”.
